For the 8th consecutive year, Carolinas Healthcare System’s Levine Children’s Hospital has been recognized as one of the nation’s top facilities for children’s healthcare by U.S. News & World Report. Additionally, the 11th annual rankings acknowledge the top 50 pediatric facilities across 10 different pediatric specialties. Levine Children’s Hospital was honored for its excellence in multiple specialties including: Cancer, Cardiology and Heart Surgery, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Nephrology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Orthopedics. The U.S. News Best Children’s Hospitals rankings rely on clinical data and on an annual survey of pediatric specialists. The rankings methodology considers clinical outcomes, such as mortality and infection rates, efficiency and coordination of care delivery and compliance with “best practices.”

On June 27th, Levine Children’s Hospital celebrated some of its patient’s for their role in helping achieve such a high honor.
