Rachel Ellis is Atrium Health Foundation’s Associate Vice President, Corporate & Foundation Relations/Grants. She joined Atrium Health Foundation in 2015, serving first as a director of development for the neuroscience and behavioral health service lines, and then transitioning to lead the Foundation’s grants efforts in 2018. Rachel now oversees Atrium Health Foundation’s corporate and foundation relations team, partnering closely with Atrium Health’s service line and administrative leaders to support system priorities through grants. She has spent the last 20 years in the nonprofit sector, serving as a professional fundraiser for organizations in Texas, Colorado, and North Carolina. Rachel has called Charlotte home for the last 14 years, and prior to joining Atrium Health Foundation, held positions with The Mint Museum and Blumenthal Performing Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and is working toward a Master of Business Administration from UNC Wilmington.
