In February 2019, Atrium Health Foundation was pleased to unveil Atrium Health Innovates: A Community Town Hall, a series of one-hour virtual broadcasts highlighting areas of leadership and innovation within Atrium Health. Led by keynote speaker Martha Whitecotton, Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health Services at Atrium Health, and moderated by Lou Solomon, Founder and CEO of Interact Authentic Communication, the inaugural Town Hall covered a range of timely behavioral health topics.
Martha and Lou engaged in a lively conversation about the stigma associated with behavioral health, explored models of care and innovations in the field, and discussed sustainable solutions on the horizon and the community support services available to patients. This inspiring broadcast engaged Atrium Health Teammates and community partners in an important discussion of Atrium Health’s response to the community’s mental health needs, including the many healthcare innovations championed by Atrium Health’s Behavioral Health facilities.
