A native of Lincolnton, NC, Kimberly has been an integral part of the civic and business communities of the Greater Charlotte area for 20+ years. Since 2021, she has served as executive director of The David and Nicole Tepper Foundation, where she guides philanthropic advice and executes initiatives for the Teppers (owners of the NFL Carolina Panthers and the MLS Charlotte FC). Kimberly also leads all operations and administration for the organization, including budget and fiduciary responsibilities, and works closely with the Teppers and board to garner continued support and guidance on high-impact, large-scale programs. She coordinates with Bank of America Stadium, Panthers, and FC outreach teams to align all Tepper-owned initiatives.
Kimberly graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations. Kimberly began her sports and entertainment career in 2002, holding roles in marketing, communications, and community relations with the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, NBA Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets), and Lowe’s corporate office. From 2012 to 2020, she was executive director of the Cam Newton Foundation, overseeing strategy, program development, fundraising, and partnerships.
