Atrium Health has unveiled the Reneé and Dewey Jenkins Wellness Center, made possible by a transformational gift from Atrium Health Foundation campaign cabinet member Dewey Jenkins and his wife, Reneé. Their generous commitment to the Giving Hope campaign has elevated health and wellness offerings at Atrium Health’s Perspective Health & Wellness SouthPark location.
Serving as the wellness hub for patients, the center provides meditation sessions, yoga, nutrition and cooking classes, and holistic therapies to promote overall well-being. A dedicated exercise physiologist will also offer personalized health education and tailored exercise plans to support patients with chronic conditions, injuries, and mobility concerns.
Through Perspective Health & Wellness, Atrium Health is redefining health care by integrating a dedicated fitness center, expert dietitians, and on-site radiology and laboratory facilities, making it easier for patients to receive comprehensive, concierge-level care. The Reneé and Dewey Jenkins Wellness Center marks a significant step toward a more holistic approach to health, ensuring patients have the resources they need to thrive.
The Jenkinses have long been dedicated to the growth of Atrium Health, with significant contributions to Atrium Health Levine Children’s and corporate support through their family-owned business, Morris-Jenkins. Dewey Jenkins, a former chair of the Levine Children’s Hospital Board of Ambassadors, continues to champion initiatives that improve patient care and accessibility.
