Special delivery! Administrators at Levine Children’s Hospital received 25 flat-screen televisions this week as a generous gift from the Wells Fargo Championship. The TV’s will be installed in patient/family areas throughout the hospital to add the familiar comforts of home and leisure for patients and families during their hospital stay, among many other hospital amenities that help to restore a sense of normalcy for patients while in the hospital’s care.
Since the tournament’s inception, Champions for Education, the not-for-profit organization that operates the Wells Fargo Championship, has been a dedicated supporter of Levine Children’s Hospital. In recent years, the Championship has donated several hundred thousand dollars to the hospital to fund clinical cancer research efforts, making Wells Fargo Championship a founding member of the Carolinas Kids Cancer Research Coalition.
We are grateful to Champions for Education and the Wells Fargo Championship for their continued dedication to Levine Children’s Hospital.
