DPR Construction: Building a Foundation of Health
More than 35 years ago, DPR Construction founders Dave, Peter, and Ron set out to build a company with global reach and a local, homegrown spirit. That founding vision continues to shape DPR’s commitment to the communities it serves, including its support of patient care initiatives across Atrium Health. The company has made a meaningful impact at Atrium Health Levine Children’s, including support for the pediatric oncology and blood disorders program, and is now expanding its commitment across the health system. Most recently, DPR sponsored the Dr. Ed Stubbs Memorial Golf Invitational, benefiting Atrium Health University City, and the Atrium Health Pineville Golf Invitational—helping to expand access to care, and strengthen resources for patients and families in the University City and Pineville communities.

Office Environments brings the joys of summer to Levine Children’s Hospital
Office Environments, Inc. partnered with global furniture manufacturer Steelcase, Inc., to host a “Summer Bash” early this summer, kicking off the season in support of Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital. Representatives from both companies visited the hospital, engaging in games and crafts and creating special memories for patients, families, and care teams.
The special summer celebration caps off nearly two decades of philanthropic support from Office Environments. As a sponsor of the Levine Children’s Gala for numerous years, Office Environments has helped Atrium Health Levine Children’s expand and upgrade the hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit — doubling the capacity to care for our most medically fragile patients — in addition to supporting many of the hospital’s most critical areas of need.
Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society Helps Students THRIVE
A generous gift from the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society to the Atrium Health Stem Lab Fund is opening new pathways for students with intellectual and developmental challenges to explore future careers in healthcare. Through THRIVE — Training for Healthcare Readiness, Inclusion, and Vocational Empowerment — students gain hands-on experience through healthcare simulations, job shadowing, training, and mentorship in partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools’ Metro School.
By expanding access to innovative learning environments and critical educational resources, this gift helps ensure that opportunities in science, technology, and healthcare are available to all students, including those from historically underserved communities.
