On Saturday, April 22, The HEARTest Yard Program and Showmars Restaurants will join forces to host the annual HEARTest Yard + Showmars 5K, presented by LifeShare Carolinas! With a like-minded mission to support Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital, both organizations are excited to maximize their impact and fundraising potential to meet the needs of and care for as many children affected by congenital heart diseases and disorders as possible.
New for 2023: This year The HEARTest Yard will have food trucks at the post-race celebration. All proceeds from these food trucks will benefit Levine Children’s Hospital. So come and enjoy some great food and drinks.
Event Details:
- 5K (Run/Walk) and Kids Fun Run on the scenic streets of the Queen City
- Race begins at 8:00 AM
- Registration is $35
- Pre-race activities take place at CMC Myers Park
- Greg Olsen and family will lead a parade march to the HEARTest Yard + Showmars 5K presented by LifeShare Carolinas start line on Cumberland Avenue upon completion of the pre-race program
- Starts and ends at CMC Myers Park
- A post-race celebration will include a complimentary kid’s fun run, food trucks, refreshments, music, inflatables, and an opportunity to meet the Top Cats and Sir Purr
