SUMMARY:Cycle to the Sea - North Myrtle Beach
DESCRIPTION:Imagine riding a bike 180 miles or more across the Carolinas\, in just three days. \nNow\, imagine pedaling that distance using only your arms or without sight. This is what a group of extraordinary cyclists set out to do annually. \nCycle to the Sea is a unique ride that raises funds and awareness for the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program (ASAP) at Atrium Health’s Carolinas Rehabilitation. This bike ride is held every year and involves athletes with physical disabilities who cycle on handcycles and/or tandem bikes. Each rider must obtain individual pledges in order to participate. \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nCycle to the Sea- North Myrtle Beach is held each spring and is 180 miles\, 60 miles a day for 3 days.  In addition to the April event\, ASAP is offering another cycling experience in October of 2015. \nCycle to the Sea – Charleston\,  suited for the experienced cyclist\, will be held each fall and is 240 miles\, 80 miles a day for 3 days. \nCycle to the Sea is one of the main fundraisers for ASAP and allows us to continue to offer a variety of low-cost programs for youth and adults with physical challenges in our community and surrounding areas.  \n\n
