On Sunday, November 23, nearly 80 tennis players and 20 adaptive players (participants in the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program) gathered at UNC-Charlotte for the 4th Annual Strokes for Spokes round-robin tennis tournament. Proceeds from the event totaled nearly $12,000, which directly benefits the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program (ASAP) at Carolinas HealthCare System. ASAP supports local adaptive programs and equipment for youth and adults in the community living with disability. Special thanks to Bill Leonard and his wife, Helen, and daughters, Megan and Molly, for helping to organize Strokes for Spokes.
