Caroline Winslett is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Ward’s Foundation, inspired by her family’s journey with rare disease. Through the foundation, she supports children and families navigating complex medical challenges and advances partnerships in clinical care and research. She is especially proud of the foundation’s partnership with Levine Children’s Hospital, where both organizations work to expand services and resources for rare disease patients. A fourth-generation Charlottean, Caroline is deeply committed to her community and also serves on the Board of the Duke Mansion & Lee Institute and as Executive Director of the William B. McGuire Jr. Family Foundation, which promotes philanthropy across Charlotte and beyond.
