With close to two decades of experience in advancing healthcare philanthropy, Ginger joined Atrium Health Foundation in 2024 as Director of Development and currently supports fundraising for nursing, surgical programs, emergency medicine, and Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation across Atrium Health’s Charlotte-area footprint. Ginger’s expertise spans the management of foundation partnerships, corporate philanthropy, major gift fundraising campaigns, grant proposals, and comprehensive community relations initiatives. Prior to joining Atrium Health, she served as Director of Development at Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head Island for 13 years where she played a pivotal role in fortifying philanthropic support across diverse revenue streams. With a mission-driven passion for healthcare philanthropy and a dedication to addressing health inequities, Ginger has also served as a volunteer for Cure Autism Now, Lowcountry Autism Foundation, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. Ginger holds a B.A. in Communications from Wake Forest University, pursued studies in the MBA program at Georgia State University, and holds the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential and a certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University.
