Support Pulmonary Medicine

Atrium Health Foundation offers donors numerous ways to advance pulmonary medicine across Atrium Health, including philanthropic support of pulmonary therapies, healthcare education and physician lectureships, clinical research, patient education, and special assistance provided to patients.

Opportunities to support Pulmonary Medicine:

 

Jan & Ed Brown Pulmonary Medicine Advancement Fund

Supports the growth of clinical research impacting care delivery within the division of Pulmonary Medicine at Atrium Health.

The Robert A. Heyer, MD Pulmonary Medicine Fund 

Benefits the advancement of educational efforts and programs to increase overall patient care at the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division. These programs include additional therapy and support for patients and lectureships for physicians.

Pineville COPD Patient Assistance Fund

Provides funding to deserving COPD clinic patients and families being treated by pulmonary medicine providers at Atrium Health Pineville who need assistance to pay for medically necessary services, supplies, and special programs.

Union Pulmonary Patient Assistance Fund

Supports group programs, patient educational materials, special equipment and supplies, and follow-up care for uninsured and underinsured pulmonary patients residing in Union County or Anson County, including special needs such as transportation to medical appointments.

Carolinas Lung Cancer Fund

Supports patient education and outreach programs at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute, as well as clinical research and treatment initiatives for lung cancer patients.
