On Tuesday, November 26, Carolinas HealthCare Foundation and Levine Children’s Hospital teamed up once again with CBS Radio’s Kiss 95.1 Team (Drex, Maney & Cassiday) to bring Christmas to the families who are celebrating the holiday in a hospital bed.
Listeners tuned into Kiss 95.1 FM to hear Drex, Maney & Cassiday LIVE from the Seacrest Studio in Levine Children’s Hospital, who shared heartwarming stories of the families, workers and volunteers that help all the children at Levine Children’s Hospital day in and day out.
Supporters contributed $40,000, acting as “Secret Santas” to brighten the holidays for children at the hospital. The campaign continues through the Christmas holiday, with new donations being accepted on a secure, online donation form.

We also thank Walmart for making a generous $5,000 match half-way through the campaign to boost the impact of callers’ gifts, Schleich Toys for matching a portion of callers’ donations by donating gift bags to Levine Children’s Hospital patients on Christmas Day, US Airway’s “Do Crew” for manning the phone bank throughout the radiothon, Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. (Charlotte, NC) for encouraging support among their customers, and everyone else in the community who invested time and energy into the campaign.
