Friday Knights for a Cure

Go for the gold – clothing, that is – at the first annual Gold Game, hosted by the North Lincoln Knights in support of childhood cancer. Wear gold or purchase a t-shirt here to benefit the Stand Firm Warrior Foundation.

Time: Ceremony begins at 7:15; game starts at 7:30

Event cost: Admission into game; optional t-shirt is $10

Wine Spectacular

Sip wine, sample hors d’oeuvres – and raise money to fight childhood cancer and improve the quality of life for childhood cancer survivors at the 18th annual Wine Spectacular. Sup on cuisine with a Spanish flair and take part in a silent auction, all to the sounds of jazz music, at the Northstone Country Club. The October event will benefit the Pounding for Parker Foundation, among other non-profits.

Prayers for Elijah Golf Tournament

Play a round of golf at Birkdale Golf Club, take part in a silent auction – and raise money to advance research and treatment options for childhood cancer patients.

The Amazing Grace 5K

Run, walk, or jog during the Amazing Grace Foundation’s 5K — and further the fight against childhood cancer in the process. Proceeds from the 5K will go toward clinical trials focusing on osteosarcoma and will also be used to help Make-A-Wish in Central and Western North Carolina and to provide financial aid to families affected by cancer.

Race registration cost: $30, plus a $2.75 sign-up fee

Joedance Tailgates

Come on out before for a free Panthers game tailgate, complete with giveaways, family-friendly fun, a live DJ, and, of course, food! This weekly event, hosted by Premier Property Solutions and American Security Mortgage, benefits Joedance.
