Levine Children’s designated among 40 beneficiaries of a million-dollar gift made on Giving Tuesday
Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 29, 2022 – Earlier today, National Gypsum announced $1 million in charitable support to build better futures through education, healthcare, and community initiatives in locations across North America where National Gypsum Company affiliates have operations. Atrium Health Levine Children’s has been named the beneficiary of a $25,000 gift that will support pediatric patient health initiatives within the Greater Charlotte region.
The health system is among 40 nonprofit organizations and schools to be selected for funding across 19 states and two Canadian provinces. National Gypsum’s generous support for these communities was announced today in conjunction with the international “Giving Tuesday” celebration of giving.

A check presentation, attended by National Gypsum employees Richie Sorce, Erika Mauldin, Rochelle Metzger, Kay Leopard, and Beth Straeten, took place at Atrium Health Foundation this afternoon.
