This Charlotte-based foundation initiated the Carolinas Bladder Cancer
Fund at Carolinas HealthCare Foundation with a $100,000 pledge of
support. 5MPower leadership, inspired by their experiences as Levine
Cancer Institute patients and patient family members, are already
planning innovative fundraising events with a goal of raising many times
the initial pledge in order to further build the Fund.
The Carolinas Bladder Cancer Fund is dedicated to advancing important
new bladder cancer research projects and tissue banking efforts led by
LCI physicians and researchers.
