Receptions for Research

In April, Receptions for Research generously gifted $50,000 to
Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) and the Carolinas Breast Cancer
Fund. Founded by Carolina Panther Greg Olsen after his
mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, Receptions for
Research was established to provide hospitals, doctors, and
researchers the necessary resources to save those affected
with various types of debilitating diseases. "We always said if
any of us had the opportunity to do our part and make a
difference ... to ensure others could have the same outcome
and results that mom did – we would," said Olsen. Receptions
for Research's gift supports instrumental research and patient
programs at Levine Cancer Institute.
